Construction

Our composting toilet is built between two tracks on our land. The photos below should give you a rough idea of the construction process.

The most important thing is to make sure that there are no water sources under the proposed site for your toilet. Humanure can contain pathogens, and you do not want these to contaminate either your or someone else’s water supplies.
